Associated and Accredited Colleges

Our commitment to widening access to our courses across all sections of the community is helped by arrangements to offer programmes in Associated and Accredited Colleges.

In some cases, these are Foundation and Access courses. Details can be found in the publicity of the Colleges concerned, and in the Prospectus entry for the faculties into whose courses they lead.

In addition, a wide variety of our courses, both full-time and part-time, is offered, in whole or in part, in the Further Education Colleges of Greater Birmingham, some of which have recently become Accredited Colleges of the University. The range and number of these courses are growing all the time. Up-to-date details can be obtained from the Colleges. Addresses and contact telephone numbers are as follows:

The University also has a number of interactive programmes with the following Sixth Form Colleges:

The University's aim is to bring the opportunity for Higher Education within the grasp of all who might benefit in the Greater Birmingham area. The overriding principle is that the quality of that educational experience must be as high as the standards we strive for both in the University and in the Associated Colleges.
