Welcome to the
Chaplaincy Service.
Starting and studying
on a course at university may be quite a challenge,
offering many opportunities. Sometimes a point
of reference is needed in all that is new.
As Chaplains we believe that we can provide
that. We are available to all students, whether
they are of any faith or none.
What is a Chaplain?
A chaplain is someone you can talk
to in confidence and in the sure knowledge
that you will not be judged or looked down
on. We will listen sensitively and although
from a religious background ourselves will
not attempt to talk you round to our ways
of seeing things.
The Chaplaincy Team is inter-faith,
representing the Roman Catholic, Anglican,
Free Church, Quaker and Jewish communities.
There is a Catholic Chaplaincy with a lounge
and a chapel at Cedd House on the City North
campus and Edgbaston Campus has its own dedicated
chaplain.
The Chaplaincy Team
are here for:
- Friendship and support
- Opportunities for sprititual growth
- Prayer and Worship
- Meeting others
- Advice on spiritual and ethical concerns

religions
