Applying for accommodation
- To have a look at the locations of our halls of residence and prices et cetera, then see our Halls of Residence page.
- When you are filling in the form please state your ID number and home address
- Once you have submitted your form you will receive an email
- You should click on the link within this email to obtain your unique application reference number, please use this in any correspondence with Accommodation
- Accommodation will commence allocating rooms at the beginning of July
- When you have been allocated a room, you will receive a provisional offer letter by email and once you have paid your £150 an original will be sent to you
Paying the £150 Deposit
Please ensure any payments sent clearly state:
- Student name and ID number
- Breakdown of payment, e.g. total amount towards tuition fees, total amount towards accommodation
Bankers Draft
- Please make the cheque payable to ‘Birmingham City University’
- Set up the transfer with your bank to pay direct to the University’s bank account
Bank Transfer
- Once you have made your payment, please complete all details in Sections 1 – 3 of the Notification of Payment by Bank Transfer Form
- Please fax a copy to Accommodation Services on + 44 (0)121 331 5377 and to the Finance Department on + 44 (0)121 331 6349
- You can also download the Notification of Payment by Bank Transfer Form
- You are required to meet all bank charges relating to the transfer
