Learning support services
Here at Birmingham City University we have a wide range of services in place to support your learning on a part-time course:
- excellent library services at each campus with a wide range of stock to support the disciplines taught there and provides assistance with study techniques, particularly useful to those returning to or starting study after a break
- Moodle: our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is an integrated and invaluable part of the learning and teaching experience. Not replacing face-to-face teaching methods it does make it easy to access resources for students wherever they may be, 24 hours a day – particularly relevant for part-time study
- Student Services provides a wide range of pastoral services including: disability, student finance, childcare facilities and assistance with career progression
Could these be the reason that around 10,000 students choose to study part-time with us?
It’s a win-win situation whichever way you look at it, so why not find out what part-time courses are on offer at any one of our eight modern teaching sites? |
