Media Relations Office

The Media Relations Office is located in the Marketing and Communications Department

The Office works on a number of levels, providing general media services to all staff, and liaising between the media and the University to provide a fast and effective response on a variety of issues.

Our main functions include: generating positive media coverage for the University by regularly issuing news stories; handling all media enquiries and ensuring journalists receive a fast and effective response to both positive and negative news stories; identifying experts within the University to talk to the media on a range of specialist subjects; evaluating the University's media coverage and producing publications, including the University staff newsletter, Newsline.
