  • Peter Rayson, Faculty Champion - Technology, Innovation and Development.
  • Steve Bradley, Director - Campus Management and Services.
  • Judith Andrews, Director - Library and Learning Resources.
  • Michele Mooney, Director - Corporate Development Centre.
  • Kathryn Jones, Director of Marketing & Communications.
  • Trevor Potten , Director Corporate ICT.
  • Peter Cochrane, Assistant Director of Estates.
  • Stuart Brand , Director of Learning and Teaching.

The Steering Group’s role is to monitor the progress of the project and to seek to ensure that it remains aligned with both the overall strategic needs and objectives of the University and the specific needs of the faculties, schools and service groups.

Faculty Champions have a dual role. In addition to representing their faculty / school on the project steering group, they are the conduit for information flow between the project team and the end-users.

By early 2008 the University had appointed the following consultants to prepare the master plan for the development and to submit it for outline planning consent:

  • Building Design Partnership (BDP) - Lead Consultant / Master Planner.
  • ARUP - Environmental Consultant.
