Raising your profile
The University works extensively with the business community, public sector, representative bodies and the city council to raise the profile of Birmingham as a city as part of its strategic support for economic development.
New Generation Arts
As the largest educator of arts graduates outside of London, the University organises the New Generation Arts Festival in June each year. It aims to raise Birmingham’s profile as an attractive city in which to work, study and visit. It seeks to help new artists showcase their talent and encourage high quality artists to stay in the city and hence improve its cultural potential. For more information about the festival and its programme go to www.newgenerationarts.co.uk.
There are opportunities for sponsorship for those businesses who wish to support creative talent and benefit from hosting their clients at the events. For sponsorship/hospitality opportunities contact Joanna.birch@bcu.ac.uk.
Birmingham Design City
The University provides considerable design expertise, consultancy and knowledge transfer in the areas of Design and Innovation. Working in partnership with CMPi, the brand behind the Interiors Show at the NEC, Marketing Birmingham and a wide range of manufacturers and consultants in the region, the University has created a new design festival to celebrate the region’s design credentials. If you are interested in the wide ranging profile raising opportunities associated with this cutting edge project contact Joanna.birch@bcu.ac.uk
