Finding old friends

Members of the Alumni Association are entitled to post messages on the Find a Friend Message Board. If you are trying to trace someone you went to university with why not leave a message with us?

To post a message on the Find a Friend Message Board please forward your name, the course you studied, the year you completed your course, the name of the person you are trying to trace, what course they studied and any other information you have on them to us at alumni@bcu.ac.uk and we will do the rest.

Please note that this service is strictly for members only. Non-members will no longer be permitted to place a message on the notice board.

Phil Riches, BSc (Hons) Applied Software Engineering (1995) would like to reconnect with former members of the War Gaming and Role Playing Society (WARPS) from 1990-1995. Phil keen to catch up with Conor Maguire, Dave Wasilewski, Peter Randall, Dave Truman, Stephen Howard, Gary Lowe, Laurence Hill, Cassandra O’Brien, Darren Brown and Nicholas Speight. Ally Malloy, BA (Hons) Marketing 2003, is keen to hear from his former classmates from the marketing degree. He would also like Lisa Riddle who studied Midwifrey/Nursing and graduate in 2003 to get in touch. Jasminder Ubhi (formally Dhingra) MSc Business and Management, 2001 and Hardev Ubhi BA (Hons) Business Studies, 2000 are trying to make contact with Mr Anant Bafna originally from Nagpur, India who stayed in the Coppice during his time at Birmingham City University. He was studying for an MBA. They would also like to hear from Miss Sarwat Qureshi who was also studying for an MBA. Sarwat was from Abu Dubai and was also staying at the Coppice. Christian Lattin, BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying (1996) would be interested to hear from people who he studied Quantity Surveying with between 1991 and 1996. Cathy Hill Postgraduate Diploma, Birmingham Conservatoire, Cathy is trying to make contact with ‘ANDY’, unfortunately she does not have his surname – Andy studied the Postgraduate Diploma in Piano starting in 1999. He would have graduated in 2000 or 2001. Andy used to accompany Cathy for her exams/recitals. Cathy plays the violin and studied the Postgraduate Diploma graduating in 2001. Sarah Petty Gilbert, Sarah is trying to locate Nicola Grant, who she believes attended Birmingham City University between 1996 and 2000 studying a nursing degree.
